WESTFIELD, Mass. On a day that senior Jessica McCarthy could have chosen to be with her senior peers at commencement back in Orono, the member of Maine women s track and field took first in the heptathlon at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships. McCarthy tallied three-straight first place finishes in the final three events to secure the heptathlon crown.
